James Skelton, three-times winner of the 5mbs Young Virtuoso Award Wind section, has received a place at the Royal College of Music in London in the B.Mus (Hons) degree with a prestigious full scholarship, commencing in September. The RCM Scholarship is to cover his course fees for the entire duration of the 4 year Bachelor of Music degree.

The scholarship does not cover his accommodation costs in London, although he has a confirmed place to reside at the Prince Consort Village in London, which is the residential college associated with the Royal College of Music.  

Recitals Australia is supporting James with a fundraising mechanism to assist with the expenses associated with his living costs in London – all donations made to this fund are tax deductable.  James performs regularly for Recitals Australia and will be presenting concerts for them (the first on April 23^rd), to help promote the fundraising campaign and to give Adelaide audiences a chance to hear him before he heads off to the UK in September.
