Kaleidoscope  is one of the ways that 5mbs connects our station to the wider music and arts community.

 It is an important link to our audience as we talk with people about what interests them most.

Fiona Peterson, just back from UK and Germany talks about her discovery of the joys of playing the Viol.

SIMON COBCROFT is curating the Coriole Music Festival 2025 which will be held at the Coriole Winery on 17-18 May. His theme is Musical Crossroads, and he has assembled a very impressive group of musicians to play in the Barrel Room, with its great acoustics. Added to the music is the fantastic food.

NIC JEFFRIES is the Executive Director of Adelaide Youth Orchestra, which supports about 300 young musicians through the year in a variety of musical activities. He will highlight some of their achievements as well as appeal for donations to buy a very special Bass Trombone for the orchestra.

FIONA PETERSON has a variety of roles at 5mbs but she is also an accomplished musician who is frequently invited to the UK and Germany to play the Viol with various groups and in different venues including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. There’s no way of knowing where music will take us!
