Nicholas Braithwaite is conducting the ASO Series 5 The Valkyries ride again! – Songs by Richard Strauss sung by Nicole Car, and Wagner (arr.Maazel) The Ring Without Words. No better person to conduct this concert than Nicholas Braithwaite who loves and understands the music of these two composers.

Nicholas Cannon established Mopoke Theatre Productions to give local singers experience and audiences pleasure. Their next production is Suor Angelica by Puccini, with Fiona McArdle singing the title role.

Valerie Volk has just returned from seeing the Passion Play at Oberammergau in Germany, as Australia’s media representative. This play is performed by the people of the village every ten years, and they have done so since the time of the Black Plague in Europe. It is a very popular tourist attraction as well as involving most of the population in the village.
