Kaleidoscope Arts Magazine

Kaleidoscope is an Arts Magazine.  This program is one of the ways that 5mbs links our station to the wider music community as well as looking further afie24ld, from time to time, at local drama, art and literature. It is an important link to the wider listening audience as we talk with some very interesting people about what interests them most. You can hear it on Wednesday 6.pm or Saturday 11am. This week features Heidi van Berneweitz, Gil Sullivan and Brian Parkes

Heidi van Berneweitz is a viola player who has had an amazing career. Now in Adelaide she is part of the Adelaide Baroque Orchestra, and she talks about their music including the Baroque Academy which will be held at Elder Conservatorium in the last week of September. Gil Sullivan is giving a recital on 14 June 1.00pm at the North Adelaide Baroque Hall, playing music by Bach and Liszt. Tickets can be bought at trybooking.com/events/landing/1339837

Brian Parkes, CEO of the JamFactory is presenting a talk about the work at this establishment for Arts National Adelaide. The JamFactory concentrates on contemporary craft and design and their work has become part of the Australian cultural landscape
