Kaleidoscope Arts Magazine

Kaleidoscope is one of the ways by which 5mbs links our station to the wider music community. As well it looks further afield, from time to time, at local drama, art and literature. It is an important link to the wider listening audience as I talk with some very interesting people about what involves  them most.

You will meet: Sam Jozeps, Joseph Tawadros and Hana Hart

Samuel Jozeps is the Creative Producer at the Australian String Quartet. He is very involved with the way programs are presented and aspects of publicity and photography. Sam is particularly keen to promote the Australian Anthology, which you can access on the website asq.com.au 

This is a number of digital recordings of string quartets which have been composed by established and emerging Australian composers snd which have been  recorded by the Australian String Quartet.

Joseph Tawadros is Australia’s leading oud player although he does play over 50 musical instruments. He has recorded many albums and performed all over the world, with major orchestras and ensembles. Joseph will be in Adelaide on 5 December 7.00pm at the Nexus Arts Centre, as well as giving a workshop/information time on Thursday evening and you can check the details of this at Nexus if you are interested. Hana Hart is a pianist  who has been studying and performing in Europe for the last seven years,after completing a music degree in Brisbane. Now she resides in Adelaide. Her special interest is as an associative artist, and she enjoys working with singers and instrumentalists. Hana also teaches piano . You can find out more about her on her website: hanahart.com
