JENNIFER MILLS is one of the writers who was commissioned to adapt a fairy story for A Concise Compendium of Wonder. Her adaption of Hansel and Gretel is The Childhood of the World. The full program will be presented by Slingsby Theatre in the Botanic Gardens 18 February to 15 March.

She is also very involved in organising the Alternate Book Week which will be staged in libraries, bookshops, Adelaide Town Hall and other venues. Some overseas writers will be taking part. This is to replace the cancelled Book Week which was part of the Adelaide Festival this year.

ELLIE BUTTROSE is the curator of ‘Yield Strength’ Bienniale of Australian Art which issuing held at the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) from 27 February to 8 June.
