The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is presenting a number of programs designed to combat winter chill and to celebrate the Orchestra’s ninetieth birthday. Included are programs featuring the music of Joe Hisaishi (6-27 June) Swansong (3-4 July) a Night at the Ballet (24-25 July) and New Ground (17-18 July) with James Crabb.
Peter Goers is starring in the role of Sheridan Whiteside in ‘The Man Who Came to Dinner’. This is a role Peter Goers has always wanted to play and now he has his wish. The director is Sue Wylie.
With him is a large cast, including Michel Griffiths, Helen Geoffreys, Brenton Whittle and Penni Hamilton-Smith.
This is a classic comedy play which sets the tone for the company in 2026.
I speak about the Music Viva Concert featuring the Doric String Quartet including Lloyd Van’t Hoff and play some of their music.
