Kaleidoscope is an Arts magazine program which brings the creative and theatrical world to 5mbs listeners, through interviews and music. Together with Arts Diary it is our link to local events and personalities.

Dave Sims is directing When the Rains Stop Falling, a play by Andrew Bovell, with Blue Sky Theatre. A very interesting and challenging play by an Australian playwright, it has had international success.  

From 24 July to 2 August at Domain Theatre, Marion Cultural Centre, Oaklands Park.

Davids Jẽkabs Kalņins is a Year 12 Drama student who has just performed at the Peter Lang Performance Centre in Tales of Edgar Allan Poe. This was a very impressive production, directed by Nicola Primaro. 

Davids speaks about his approach to two very different roles, and his hopes for a future career as an actor. 

This production is now finished but keep an eye out for Peter Lang Performance Arts Centre for future productions.

Tansy Curtin, curator at AGSA speaks to Gabrielle Scherrer about the next important exhibition at the Art Gallery South Australia. Monet to Matisse has much to offer including the work of some American artists.
