John Giacchi will be performing, together with Tony Fenelon at the Capri Theatre on August 2, 2.00pm in a show called Duelling Keyboards. The keyboards are the theatre organ and a grand piano, and the music includes Rachmaninoff, Strauss, de Falla and Lloyd Weber. Both musicians have been frequent performers at the Capri Theatre.

James Huon George, is giving a recital at the North Adelaide Baroque Hall on 1 August at 1.00pm. He has chosen some lesser known pieces by composers such as Lizst, Schubert and Satie.

Gil Sullivan, well known for his thoughtful approach to music and many recordings, will be playing sonatas by Beethoven and Brahms at the North Adelaide Baroque hall on 30 July 7.00pm. You can hear the first (at the age of 11) and last sonata which Beethoven composed as well as Brahms’ second Sonata.
