This week brings two very interviews about two very different styles of music. Both are equally compelling.

Considering Mathew Shepherd is a modern oratorio based on the death of a young man in Ohio, twenty five years ago, a victim of a hate crime which shocked the world.

Jesse Budel who is the musical director speaks with authority and emotion about the music which ranges from Bach to Blues, and in-between, performed by some of Adelaide’s best singers and instrumentalists.

Adelaide Baroque Academy is treating Adelaide to a feast of Historical Performances, with the cream of  Australian Baroque musicians, plus students’ performances, workshops, master classes and Baroque Dancing.
