Mary Peterson gives details the YVA this year. This Award gives young musicians the chance to win a very attractive monetary prize and the chance to go on to the National Finals in Melbourne. Guys and Dolls

Sensory Concerts, as part of Mental Health Awareness Month will be presented by Recitals Australia. These concerts are designed for people with sensory and special needs, and Mark de Raad Director of Recitals Australia gives an excellent account of the concept and presentation style of these concerts. They will be at Salisbury Community House 6 October 10.00am and 11.45am, then on 7 October Flinders University Oasis Centre 10.00am
