In this time of turmoil the Corinthian sSngers look back  to an earlier time of turmoil in a concert to celebrate Bastille Day.

Young people wishing to save endangered species in Australia will be wild about Wild at Art.

The Seraphim Trio brings a sophisticated slant to the wonderful song cycle by Robert Schumann, Woman’s Love and Life. There is also music by Clara Schumann and a new composition by Anne Cawrse.

Corinthian Singers

Mathew Atherton and Steve Donovan are happy to talk about the music chosen by the Corinthian Singers for their concert on 16 July 3.00pm at St John’s Church, Halifax Street. Music ranges from well known composers, such as Debussy to more obscure, but worthy composers, such as E.N Mehul.

Lorraine Bower

Wild at Art is an art contest for children from 5 to 12. They must choose an animal, bird, fish or plant which is native to Australia and is endangered, and then make a drawing which will be judged by a panel of three artists. Looking at some  winners from past years, the children are very talented.

Helen Ayres Anna Goldsworthy and Tim Nankervis

Helen Ayres, who, with Anna Goldsworthy and Tim Nankervis is part of  the SeraphinmTrio speaks about their next concert at Elder Hall 15 July 6.30pm. They will rejoined by soprano Lorraine Gore, and present music by both Robert and Clara Schumann.
