Lachlan Bramble and the Benaud Trio are organising an event For the Record which will be an ‘Who’s Who’ of Adelaide’s composing community. Two separate cds, one with he music of David Kotlow and the other Raymond Chapman-Smith, will be launched, together with a performance of music by Anne Cawrse. At St John’s Church, Halifax St. 30 July, 7pm. Tickets $30 and $20 concession.

Joshua van Konkenelberg, organist. is presenting Theft and Tribute, for the Adelaide Baroque Exploration Series. North Adelaide Baptist Church, Tynte Street  July 23 3pm. Joshua explains the significance of the title through the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Busoni and his own composition.

Mark Isaacs

Mark Isaacs, noted composer and musician, has recorded an album of his piano works under the title Sonata, on the ABC Classics label. He focuses on this particular music, just released during the interview..
