We’re off to the circus with Mark Edgley; previewing the Young Virtuosi Award with Mary Fiona Peterson; and spending a delightful day viewing art at Carrick Hill with Margot Osborne. 

Mid-century Moderns gives you glimpse of the way art changed in Adelaide in the 1950s and 60s. The curator of this exhibition, Dr Margaret Osborne talks about some of the artists and their works which are on display at Carrick Hill until 15 October.

5mbs Young Virtuosi Award organised by Mary Fiona Peterson

This award is being held on October 22 at St John’s Church ,Halifax Street starting at 2.30pm. Details of the contestants, adjudicators, prizes and the chance to be a sponsor can all be found at 5mbs.com website which has been prepared by Mary Fiona Peterson, who is the organiser of the YVA.

Great Moscow Circus

The circus is in Adelaide from 29 September until 19 October. 

Mark Edgley, whose family has been associated with the Moscow Circus for three generations, talks about the attractions and the changes over the years.
