Kaleidoscope Arts Magazine

Fringe and Festival are finished but the music goes on.

Three young singers have been wowing school children with the Frog Prince and two of them come to 5mbs to talk about the experience.

Adelaide Baroque, together with Emma Horwood, is presenting a program of memorable composers to herald Easter. Violinist and leader of the orchestra, Ben Dollman, gives the details.

Lucy Stoddart and Callum McGing  ( with James  Nicholson) have been touring the schools singing a version the Frog Prince, with catchy words and the music from well know operas.

They talk about how exciting it has been and the new skills they learned when they went on tour.

Violinist Ben Dollman is leading the Adelaide Baroque Orchestra in a program of Easter music. It includes music by Handel, Telemann, Palestrina, Scarlatti and Vivaldi. Soprano and Harpist, Emma Horwood will be joining them as a soloist

Two performances: 5.00pm and 7.30pm at St Johns Church Halifax Street, on 23 March.
