This week I speak to a writer, Lyndall Clipstone, a musician, Brendan O’Donnell and the President to eat Friends of the Adelaide Symphony Orhcestra, David Wotton.
Lyndall Clipstone is a local author who is published in Australia, United States, U.K. France and Russia (in translation). Her books belong to the YA speculative fiction genre, which is immensly popular all over the world. She explains why this is so.
Lakesedge, and Forestfall are both published in Australia by Pan MacMillan and Unholy Terrors published by Penguin. A fourth book is due out early next year.
Brendan O’Donnell is back to talk about his next concerts where he is joined by baroque harpist Hanna Lane.
The title of the concert is Songs Without Words and it features music from the 16th and 17th centuries
First concert is on 13 Apri lat Coriole Top House (at the winery, and the second on 14 April is part of the Exploration Series run by Adelaide Baroque. This will be in the Baptist Church, Tynte Street North Adelaide.
Tickets for both concerts can be bought through trybooking.com
David Wotton is President of the Friend of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and he talks about the work that they do, raising money to help members of the orchestra mainly by arranging informal concerts by various members of the ASO. They are looking for more members and there are benefits if you join.
David is quite happy of you to ring him on 0419 806 715 for further information.
