Following a career as a teacher in both South Australian public schools and Thailand and in the administration of the Education Department, I have been a presenter at 5MBS for more than 30 years, and present all types of classical music programs.

I was previously a presenter with 5UV (now Radio Adelaide), and moved over to 5MBS when it began. I’ve always had a strong interest in classical music and learnt clarinet when I was at school. I have been singing in choirs for most of my adult life.

My knowledge about classical music and composers has been extensively broadened because I now have access to the 5MBS library.  I enjoy the challenge of selecting music for programs and writing scripts.

In the past I have undertaken many roles at the station, including Acting Station Manager, Convenor: Program and Standards Committee, Board member, and Secretary to the Board.

In my opinion 5MBS provides a vital and important alternative service to the ABC for Adelaide listeners in particular. It has given me many hours of pleasure and satisfaction to have been part of the 5MBS family.
