The 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Music Broadcasting Society of South Australia Inc will be held at the West Adelaide Football Club, 57 Milner Road, Richmond on Wednesday 29 November 2023. The meeting will begin at 6.00pm and registration will be available from 5.30pm. Dinner will be available following the meeting, at reasonable cost.
Members are requested to contact the station on 8324 2324 or by email at reception@5mbs.com to register an intention to attend or an apology.
This is the annual opportunity for volunteers and members to meet, consider the future of the organisation and enjoy a meal and a drink together. The Board encourages everyone to attend both the AGM and the dinner.
Call for Nominations
In accordance with the Rules of the Music Broadcasting Society of South Australia Inc (Clause 9), the following four positions on the Board of Directors will become vacant at the Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 29 November 2023:
Chairperson: currently held by Frank Seeley AO
Treasurer: currently held by Andrew Hanna
Two Ordinary Directors: currently held by Emily Sutherland and Meg Alexander.
The Board appointed David Anthony as Returning Officer to preside over the election process. In September, David issued a Call for Nominations for the positions listed above, to serve for a term of two years. A number of nominations have been received.
