Corinthian Singers are presenting Salve Regina. Their Director, Alex Roose talks about their chosen music, which reflects the joy of singing a cappella polyphonic music composed over the centuries.

Young musicians, Mikalya Yap and Madeline Nishimoto, members of the Adelaide Youth orchestra, talk about what they gain from their time in the orchestra, their Gala 25th Anniversary concert and working with their new musical director, Lloyd van’t Hoff. They had advice for those  young musicians planning to audition for AdYO next year.

The Gala Concert  will be at Adelaide Town Hall, 26 September 7.00pm

Cianah Harris and Jackie Hatcher talk about the AWO concert, Gloriosa, on 19 September at Elder Hall, where they will be playing some very interesting music. Two commissioned pieces from Australian composers, an American and a Japanese work.

Then they will take this concert to Sydney in October to perform at the ANBOC conference.
